Junaid Akram's response to Punjab 100 days performance review

Junaid Akram a popular video creator, influencer, and social rights activist from Karachi, backlashes over his sponsored video for the campaign related to Punjab’s 100-day performance. Netizens are disappointed by the content creators and media stars who accept this paid campaign.

In response, Junaid Akram released another video as an apology to people and explained why he chose to do this promotional campaign for the Punjab Government.

His apology is based on 3 different reasons. Junaid Akram Said:

  1. He doesn’t mention a disclaimer in the video containing paid promotional content.
  2. The video is lazy and seems an explanatory video. He should create a video of public opinion over this campaign, where he can analyze the public thoughts compared to the campaign terms.
  3. The third and biggest mistake by Junaid is the time suitability of the video. People in Pakistan are suffering from high inflation, heavy taxes, and other lifestyle problems. That was not the best time to release such type of videos.

He also clarified that this is not a Government-level campaign or promoting any specific political party. But the provincial-level campaign. Every province should create these types of campaigns, so the public can vote accordingly after 4 years. The public can analyze their best and vote based on real stats and not only based on “Biryani”.

He also highlights his efforts and calls towards freelancers, technology, and education. All are non-labeled and he put 100% of his assets and efforts toward the betterment of the new generation.
