Two people were killed and more than 60 were hospitalized after aerial firing during independence celebrations in Karachi.
During Independence Day celebrations in Karachi, people set off fireworks as well as aerial firing, resulting in the loss of two lives and the hospitalization of more than 60 people.
The two deaths include an 8-year-old girl and a senior citizen, while the injured include children, men, and women.
Despite knowing that aerial firing causes casualties and despite government restrictions, the public does not stop. These acts may seem good just during celebrations, but their harm is often borne by innocent and blameless people.
