Karachi will be facilitated with a state-of-the-art train under a modern project. On September 10, 2025, Karachi passengers will be rewarded with the convenience of new trains through months of hard work and the railway upgrade plan. Pakistan Railways Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi himself has announced the inauguration date.
Addressing the media, Abbasi has stated that this initiative of the government is to provide convenience to passengers and upgrade the railway network across the country. He said: “Under the Prime Minister’s vision, both short-term and long-term projects are underway across the country to modernize the rail system.
Key Upgrades:
- This railway system is scheduled to be inaugurated in Karachi on September 10, 2025, and will include major changes, such as digital ticketing, train tracking, and free Wi-Fi.
- Pakistan Railways will outsource trains, facilities and services by September 30.
- These steps are being taken to expand the Pakistan Railways project so that it can be expanded nationwide.
