Court orders blocking of 27 YouTube channels Having Million Subscribers

The local court in Islamabad has given the order to block 27 major Pakistani YouTube channels. These channels include channels of popular media and journalists.

This court order was sought by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and the reason given was that anti-state content is published on these channels.

This plea of ​​FIA was heard by Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah, in which it was requested to block the famous and notorious channels of Pakistan. The court immediately issued an order to the YouTube company to completely block these channels.

The blocked channels list includes Matiullah Jan, Asad Toor, Siddique Jan, Oriya Maqbool Jan, Arezo Kazmi, Habib Akram, Imran Riaz, Sabir Shakir, Aftab Iqbal, and Moeed Pirzada, among many others.

According to a two-page court order, the FIA ​​began investigating these channels on June 2. The agency presented all the evidence and claims to support the case, based on which the court ensured immediate action..

According to the court, the evidence presented by the FIA ​​was compelling and legal action could be taken considering it. This anti-state content could pose a serious threat to the country.
