The Infinix Hot 60 Pro Plus has been officially launched in the Pakistan smartphone market, and it has set a world record not only in the Pakistani market but also as the slimmest phone in the world.
This is the slimmest curved display phone launched in the world to date. In this price category no phone company is thinking of setting a world record.
At this pricing, smartphone companies tend to focus on making devices affordable for a normal user, with limited hardware and software. Infinix has changed the game.
Design and Frame:
Infinix has mentioned on the box itself that the Hot 60 Pro Plus is the world’s slimmest curved display phone. The total thickness of the phone is just 5.95 mm, which not only gives a premium hand feel but is also quite light. Its weight is kept at 155 grams.
The back of Hot 60 Pro+ is made of fiber instead of glass or plastic, to keep its weight down, and the fiber is also quite strong.
Display:
The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution (1224×2720 pixels) AMOLED curved display. It has a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and there is also an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone comes with IP64 water and dust resistance and also supports NFC.
Processor:
It is one of the few mobile phones in Pakistan that are the first to offer the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset in the Pakistani market. The Hot 60 Pro+ has recorded an AnTuTu benchmark score of 449,445.
The MediaTek G200 is the same processor as the G100, but its GPU has been significantly improved, making it a beneficial option for gamers.
OS:
The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ comes with XOS 15.1.1 software, which is the best and most upgraded software by company ever.
The company claims that the Hot 60 Pro+ comes with three years of major software updates. This means that it will run Android 15 out of the box and is guaranteed to be updated to Android 18. In addition, it will also receive security updates for two years.
The Hot 60 Pro+ box claims a 5-year fluency warranty, but no one knows how security will change in the future.
Storage:
The variant that has been launched in the Pakistani market is the 256GB variant of the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+. Its box states 16GB of RAM, but in reality the RAM is 8GB and the remaining 8GB is extended RAM.
Camera Quality:
The main camera on the back is 50MP, there is a 2MP sensor, and there is an IR sensor on the back that helps in controlling the TV and AC. Below the IR sensor, there is an active halo light that acts as a notification light.
According to the price tag of this phone, Infinix has not provided an ultrawide angle camera, which seems like a small missing feature compared to the price and other competitors. But the gallery itself has AI editing apps that convert normal images into ultrawide.
There’s a 13MP selfie shooter on the front that delivers very pleasant photos in daylight.
Battery and Charging:
Due to the slimness of the phone, we don’t get any wireless charging option, but somehow Infinix has still installed a 5160mAh battery. The box includes a 45W fast charger and a Type A to C power cable.
Warranty Terms:
Infinix claims that it comes with a 5-year fluency warranty, 3 years of software and 2 years of security updates. It also offers a 1-year official phone and accessory warranty.
Extra Features:
Infinix has also added some additional features which, although small, but are quite helpful. UltraLink facility has been provided, which allows emergency contact to be made via Bluetooth even without internet or SIM signal.
With NFC on the back of the phone, Google Pay will work very easily in Pakistan. In addition, more NFC features such as card reading and copying are also possible.
It has a JBL dual speaker system that is quite impressive and loud. There is also the option of Infinix AI, which includes all the AI features that were available in other Infinix mobile phones before today.
