Afghanistan Football Team to Land in Pakistan Today for the AFC Qualifier Clash

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has confirmed that the Afghanistan football team will arrive in Islamabad tonight (Wednesday) to play an AFC 2027 qualifier match against Pakistan.
The qualifier round was delayed due to the Afghan football team not being issued a visa by Pakistan, however, the PFF has now confirmed that the Afghan football team is coming to Islamabad to play the qualifier round against Pakistan.
The Afghan squad will arrive in Pakistan from Dubai by 7pm, while the Pakistan vs Afghanistan qualifier round will begin at 2pm on Thursday, October 9 at Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad.
The delay in the team’s arrival in Pakistan was due to visa processing issues, which were expected to affect the qualifiers. However, with the efforts of Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Interior Minister and the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), the issue is resolved.
Mohsin Naqvi thanked the government for helping to make the team’s arrival process smooth, assured, and timely.
