It is going viral on social media that the government is planning to auction Imran Khan’s Bani Gala House and all properties in Islamabad. Even major digital media platforms like The National, 24 News HD and Dunya News have reported this.
While according to PTI’s Salman Akram Raja, NAB Reference No. 19/2023, titled “State vs. Imran Khan”, which is very popularly known as the Al-Qadir Trust case, it is clear that all properties except this trust have been declared fugitive.
Senior journalists confirmed and reassured that the news of Imran Khan’s Bani Gala house being auctioned is false. They said that the condition of the auction is that the accused fails to surrender before the law, while Imran Khan has been in jail for a long time.
At the end, all the rumors that are currently circulating on news channels and social media platforms and spreading like wildfire are false. One obvious reason for the rapid spread of these rumors is Imran Khan’s fan following on social media and among the youth, who are experts in spreading things without verifying the originality or source.
