Honda City Aspire S Launched in Pakistan, Price and Specs

Honda Pakistan has launched the new Honda Aspire S, and judging by the changes it has received, the S seems to stand for sports. But most of the changes in the S variant are purely cosmetic.

The Honda City has not received a facelift, but a new variant has been introduced, the Honda City Aspire S.

Exterior Upgrades:

Its headlights at the front of Aspire S have been updated, previously they used to have halogen bulbs, but now they are LED with carbon fiber trim.

Earlier, its front grille was of bright chrome, but now it has been given a dark shade for a sleeker look. Along with this, the fog lamps which were earlier halogen bulbs are now in LED.

The new 15-inch alloys, which used to come in silver, have also been made dark chrome to avoid duo tone, and the center of the wheel has the same Honda badge.

The side glasses are also blackened, but this only comes in the S variant. And the door visors come in both the standard S variant and the top-of-the-line variant.

There is a black spoiler at the rear with an LED strip. The Aspire top-of-the-line variant and the Aspire S variant have new rear LED lights. In base variant rear lights remains unchanged.

The Aspire S has the largest boot space in the family, with a capacity of 510 liters, which is significantly larger than even the Honda Civic.

Interior Upgrades:

Chrome door handles are provided, along with smart entry and push start buttons. Automatic AC and rear ventilation are provided, making the daily driver’s journey much easier.

The steering wheel design is the same as the standard City, but now it is in leather stitch. The gear lever is also in leather stitch.

New comfortable premium leather seats have been installed, along with a total of 6 speakers.

Engine and Safety:

The car has been updated look-wise to a considerable extent with the S badge, which seems to be a complete option after half decade. But the engine is the same old 1500cc 1.5L i-VTEC, which produces 118 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque.

The body size and chassis are the same. There are no changes in the dual airbags, ABS, EBS either. This seems to be mostly a cosmetic upgrade and not to the safety or engine.

Price:

The Honda City Aspire S 1.5L is Rs. 1,80,000 more expensive than 1.5L Aspire CVT, which has a company price of Rs. 6,149,000.
