Mickey Arthur Called Babar and Rizwan Unfit for T20 Cricket

Mickey Arthur, former coach of the Pakistan cricket team and one of the best voices in the world of cricket, has called Pakistan’s batting stars Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan unfit for modern T20 cricket.
A controversy is going around on the internet among cricket fans that Pakistan’s key player duo Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are not suitable options in the team for T20 cricket. Mickey Arthur has supported these skeptical fans in his statement.
Arthur said: “Today’s modern T20 cricket is completely different, and the way Babar and Rizwan play is personal scoring. The Pakistan cricket team needs new tools.”
Arthur took Pakistan into the No1 T20 cricket team in his time, captained by Sarfaraz Ahmed. He added: “Every coach has his own plan, and Mike Hesson will also be clear in his plan.”
Hesson probably agrees with Arthur. Ever since he took over the management, he has started removing Babar and Rizwan from the top-order batsman positions and giving the opening batting to Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman and Sahibzada Farhan.
Rizwan and Babar have made many records in T20, but their slow style of playing cricket is not compatible with the modern approach. This is why while the top and middle order batsmen score runs for the team, they only maintain the strike rate by playing slow cricket.
The Pakistan cricket team desperately needs fast-scoring cricketers to beat the rest of the teams in international T20 cricket, and Mickey Arthur’s statement could prove to be a major blow to the T20 international careers of Babar Azam and Rizwan.
