A police case has been registered against Farhan Ghani, the brother of Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani, and he has been arrested.
Ferozabad Police have arrested Farhan Ghani in a assault case(Case No. 843/2025), and according to the police, the FIR has been registered on the complaint of Hafiz Sohail Ahmed Jadoon, the supervisor of the optical fiber project.
Suhail Ahmed Jadoon says that the government was carrying out excavation work in the town to install and repair optical fiber. During this time, 20 to 25 people arrived in vehicles and tortured and threaten them.
Jadoon says he identified some of these individuals, including Farhan Ghani, son of Usman Ghani, Qamar Ahmed Khan, Shakeel Chandio, Sikandar and Rohan.
Jadon said that when he introduced his responsibility and the project, he was threatened, some of them tortured him and even threatened to kill him.
The police registered a case of assault and attempt to murder under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA).
After the FIR was registered, Farhan Ghani surrendered himself and reached the Ferozabad police station.
