SBCA Cancels Bahria Town Karachi NOC

The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) had given Bahria Town Karachi an NOC to sell and advertise properties on September 19, 2022, which has now been canceled.
The decision to cancel Bahria Town Karachi’s NOC is in connection with CMA 8758/2018, dated November 23, 2023, by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. This also includes Bahria Town Karachi’s failure to pay the installment of Rs. 460 billion by August 2026.
The SBCA said that the continuation of the NOC to Bahria Town Karachi was not only misleading the public but also condoning an illegal act. In the authority’s meeting on September 3, 2025, it was decided that the NOC of Bahria Town Karachi should be withdrawn immediately.
The notice further states that ‘you are therefore directed to refrain from buying, selling, booking or advertising any plots/constructed units in Bahria Town Karachi’.
However, the SBCA has assured that those who have been allotted earlier are safe and this is the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
