Pakistani students won 4 medals at the International Nuclear Science Olympiad.

Pakistani students won 4 medals at the 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO-2025). The event was held in Malaysia.

These students set a new example by winning 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, stepping onto the ladder of success in the field of nuclear science.

The event was held in Malaysia from July 30 to August 5 under the auspices of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in which 19 countries with advanced technology expertise, including China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Sri Lanka, participated.

Muhammad Tayyab Bukhari from Beacon House School Abbottabad won the gold medal, and Ammar Asad Warraich from Siddique Public School Islamabad won the silver medal for Pakistan.

Pakistani daughters Rawah Javed, from Siddique Public School, and Tatheer Aima Naqvi, from Chenab College, Jhang, won bronze medals.

The team was guided by Dr. Sajjad Tahir (Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences – PIEAS) and Dr. Muhammad Maqsood (Directorate of Education, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission – PAEC).

This success and achievement of Pakistani students is a clear testament to the hard work and training of institutions like PIEAS and PAEC. These institutions are engaged in the scientific training of students in Pakistan. How well has the poet said: “Zara Num ho to ye Matti bari zarkhais hai Saaqi”
