Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, currently imprisoned in Adiala Jail, was taken into custody moments after being granted bail in the Toshakhana 2.0 case. The proceedings were overseen by Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Amjad Ali Shah, who addressed multiple legal matters involving the former premier.
The court denied the request for physical remand in six cases from September 28, October 4 and October 5, and directed that Imran Khan be placed in judicial remand. Following the approval of judicial remand, Imran Khan was handed over to the custody of the jail authorities.
Earlier, Imran Khan was arrested in connection with six cases linked to the protests on September 28, October 4, and October 5. However, no arrests have been made in the 28 cases associated with the November 24 protest.
