Samsung has officially introduced the Fan Edition of the S25, also known as the S25 FE. The smartphone has been launched with major specification changes. The notable upgrades include a silicon-carbon battery, strengthened internal hardware, and Samsung’s latest UI 8.0 as default.
Design:
The design language is exactly the same as the S25 family, it looks like another sibling to the S25 and S25 Ultra, and it also comes with the latest Android version 16 in the box. It looks and feels quite premium.
Display and Frame:
The phone comes with a 6.7-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1900 nits peak brightness. Outdoor visibility is excellent, and Samsung is the king of display manufacturing as always. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, while the body is based on Armor Aluminum frame. There is also IP68 water and dust resistance.
Processor and Storage:
In terms of hardware, it is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, with options for up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Samsung has also claimed 7 years of OS and security updates for its S25 FE phone, just like its other flagship models.
Camera Quality:
The Samsung S25 FE features a 50MP triple rear camera setup, which includes optical image stabilization (OIS). There is also a 12MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto lens that is capable of 3x zoom. On the front, there is a 12MP selfie camera, which is accompanied by Samsung’s latest AI features such as Generative Edit & Fill, Circle to Search, etc. These software-based AI features help improve photography and videography in the Samsung S25 FE.
Battery and Charging:
A 4,900 mAh battery is installed, which is based on silicon-carbon technology. There is support for 45W fast charging, along with 25W wireless charging, reverse wireless charging is also available. Samsung claims that the S25 FE can be charged up to 50% in just 30 minutes. But we do not see any charger from Samsung in the box, the charger will have to be purchased separately.
S25 FE Price International:
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has been launched in three different price ranges depending on the variants: $875 (128GB), $945 (256GB), and $1,084 (512GB), which is higher than last year’s S24 FE ($650 at launch).
S25 FE Price in Pakistan:
Currently, Samsung has not announced the price of the local models like Pakistan or India. But according to calculations, the price of Samsung S25 FE in Pakistan will be around Rs 3 lakh, and after PTA tax it will increase to around Rs 4.5 lakh to 5 lakh.
