NADRA Plans to Open 13 New Offices and Mega Centers in Sindh

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has planned to open 13 new offices and mega centers in Sindh. The aim is to improve the identity registration service in Sindh.
In a meeting between Sindh Chief Secretary Dr. Asif Haider Shah and a high-level delegation from NADRA, it was finalized that NADRA needs more offices and mega centers to provide improved services.
This expansion also includes the fact that NADRA counters will now be available in the union councils of Karachi. This was confirmed by Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab during the inauguration of the registration office in Babar Market Landhi.
New mega centers are being built in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg and Surjani Town Karachi, which will provide excellent seating capacity, wheelchairs and improved counter services.
Passport processing counters will also be set up in the existing NADRA offices in Nazimabad and the Site area.
In addition, NADRA has also introduced version 5.0 of the Pak ID mobile app, so that citizens can easily track and record their queries digitally.
The app has introduced features like upgraded user interface, faster CNIC cancellation, easy search option, and bilingual (Urdu and English). This upgrade is beneficial for people in rural areas.
