With a range of 500 km, here is the most advanced electric vehicle coming to Pakistan, the JMEV Elight. This car is going to be the cheapest vehicle in the electric sedan segment, compared to other Chinese brands BYD and Deepal.

Its front wheels are equipped with motors that are connected to a 56.3 kWh battery, which gives it a range of 500 km and produces 165 horsepower.
It comes in two variants, JMEV Elight Comfort and JMEV Elight Premium. In the Premium you get 17-inch alloy rims, while in the Comfort you get 17-inch steel rims.
On the front you will find large DRLs with a beautiful pattern. Along with this, the front headlights are with 4 lenses and parking sensors. Moreover, there are some cameras installed on the front as JMEV also includes ADAS 2.5.
The side profile of the vehicle is quite aerodynamic, which looks inspired by the Tesla Model S. There is a charging port on the right side, which opens when pressed.
If charged at home with a 7 kWh charger, it will be fully charged in 10 hours, and on a commercial charger, 30 to 80 percent is charged in just 30 minutes.
It comes with touch door handles, which unlock when pressed or tap.
The back side profile is quite beautiful and bulky, there is a button to open the trunk, but the trunk is not automatic or electric.
Interior:
The interior of this EV is more beautiful than its exterior. It comes in two color options: Black with Gray and Blue with White.
Talking about the infotainment cluster, the JMEV Elight Premium comes with a large 12.6-inch touchscreen, while the base variant, the JMEV Elight Comfort, gets a smaller 7-inch touchscreen. Along with a 7-inch instrument cluster, which displays ADAS features, indications, and warnings.
The AC controls are also available manually and can be adjusted from the digital screen. Along with this, the AC and windows can also be controlled from the main screen. The car has both hard buttons and touch options.
The steering wheel is tilt and telescopic, so it can be easily adjusted to the driver’s preference.
Type-C fast charging port, and a USB 2.0 port are available for mobile charging. There are 2 cup holders at the front and a cool box under the armrest.
The frame of this vehicle is made by mixing steel and aluminum, this hybrid frame helps keep the vehicle strong and light in weight.
Usually, sedan segment cars do not have a roll bar on the roof, but this vehicle has a center roll bar that divides its moonroof into two parts. The entire roof is made of glass.
Airbags are available for the driver and passenger, although the company has not confirmed how many airbags there are in total.
Its seats are leather, the Premium has electric seats, while the base variant Comfort has manual seats.
