13-year-old wins gold medal for Pakistan in Malaysia Taekwondo Championship

Pakistan’s young talent Syed Muhammad Hadi Jafri has once again made the country proud! 🏆 After winning a silver medal at the World Taekwondo Qatar Open and a gold at the Malaysia Cup, Hadi has now won another gold medal, which is a source of pride for the nation.
At just 13 years old, he is defeating world-class players with skill, determination, and passion—and proving that he is one of the shining stars of the future.
At the Malaysia International Championship, Hadi won four consecutive fights against players from Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, and China to win the gold medal, raising the flag of Pakistan.
Earlier in his debut fights in Qatar in 2023, Hadi put in a stunning performance, defeating fighters from four different countries. Among them was a fighter who has now won a medal at the World Championships — and that was the one Hadi defeated at the age of just 11.
Due to lack of resources, talented players like Hadi are deprived of participating in world championships.
Hadi says:
“If I am given full facilities and support, I can win medals for Pakistan in international events. Every medal I win is for Pakistan.”
